the dreamer

as the sparrow flies,

she finds it hard to see the stars, enveloped by fog.

but she is a hopeful dreamer,

admiring the world through her rose-colored glasses.

her gentle coo echoes through the emptiness,

a sense of bittersweet melancholy hanging in the air.

she smells the fragrant nighttime breeze and the sweet, gentle blooms below her,

lost in her thoughts.

but dreams are simply illusions, and like all things, they must come to an end.

the sparrow wakes up.
