Pollen

As flowers at the yard spread maturity in the air

teasing winged tinies to the golden power called pollen,

so my soul helplessly drops sugary words

onto an uncovered naive paper.

Spontaneous so causing the unavoidable natural

that brings its best fruits to sight,

unraveling a colossal glory which fills the earth

with the most beautiful features.

Friends with words and depths since always, Tathyane Ludwig had a degree in Law but chose another field of action, where she continued to translate some texts for a friend’s blog or magazine. One day she challenged herself to write her own lines and the result is the bilingual poetry from the book Versos Inaugurais (Brasil, 2022). Lover of the real beauty in all its forms and of subjects that go beyond the surface, as well as every culinary dish containing shitake mushrooms, she keeps on experiencing other literary genres and playing with the possibilities that writing can offer.
